how would you describe the STILL aesthetic to a friend? would you say nature-focused, seasonal…white, spare? maybe calm, zen? minimal? unexpected maybe? quirky? i would love to know how many of you came up with my word: graphic. i think that’s the quality i look for most often in my subjects. something swaggerish about the way they occupy the space inside the frame. these locust leaves are a perfect example. bold, repeating, unapologetic…in a word graphic.
