spring bulbs (1 of 2)
a couple of weeks ago i posted a circle of spring bulbs i had forced early. then i shrewdly left the arrangement on the floor to dry for three weeks. and photographed it again. it wasn’t laziness, it was intentional. i wanted compare the before and after. so here’s the after, and i am reposting the before photo so you don’t have to go looking for it. i’ll be curious, which do you prefer? i think i like the dried one better.

MJ, they are equally as beautiful, each in their own way. But after a long winter I’m starved for lush new growth and spring, so the original sparks more joy in me today. And I think this is an approach worth repeating!
