Hi Mary Jo, I love this blog and your incredible photos. Did you collect these sand dollars over time? I would love to walk on a beach where there are this many sand dollars! I only find one every few years…

Hi Rita, my sister-in-law found these while vacationing for a week on North Captiva Island in late March. She said that when the tide went out, they could find handfuls at a time. The island just north of North Cap is a State Park called Cayo Costa…I bet that would be just as abundant too. I highly recommend the area.
