bycatch

the day before we left languedoc my husband was invited to spend a day fishing on a small family-owned commercial fishing boat in the mediterranean.  the family has fished the same waters six days a week for over fifty years.

these beautiful creatures were the some of the unfortunate bycatch from that day

      Hi Cornelia-
I am glad you like the photos. Yes, it is all my own work. My husband and kids have all gotten involved in the project by becoming vigilant specimen hunters, especially my very observant nine year old son. But the photos are all mine.
Thanks for visiting STILL blog and for leaving a comment :-)
