homage to ruth asawa

my husband steve and i couldn’t agree on what these fig chains reminded us of. steve said they looked like staircase balusters. i thought they looked sort of mid-century modern. but then someone on instagram suggested they looked like artist Ruth Asawa’s wire weavings. and we had a winner.
