      I agree. There isn’t a ton of blue like that in nature, that’s what makes these so special for me. Besides, I find it pretty rare to find blue jay feathers at all, so to find 4 on one walk is special too.

        Lucky. That was my thought too, as I’ve yet to find a blue jay feather although they visit our yard. I had dreams of a blue and white garden long ago, but realized that most blue flowers are more mauve (which I love–it’s just not blue).

    Absolutely beautiful. I really love the color and agree it is rare to see much blue in nature. Reminds me that I need to get out of the city and back to nature.
