a winter still life

i really aught to save this holiday themed image for a month  or so, but that is not how i roll. i make the photo, and post the photo. one a day. every day. evergreens and pinecones and red berries are every bit as “in season” now as they will be in mid-december. we just happen to culturally associate red and green with the winter holidays in december. but STILL is independent of the cultural calendar. it is tied only to the physical seasons. and right now, evergreens, pinecones, and red berries are in season.
