green pea, chartreuse, celery, avocado

i did a google search to see if there is an official name for this color of yellow-green. it’s the color that dominates my world for the entire month of may. according to the warren mars color wheel, the most accurate description is green pea, with chartreuse, celery, and avocado near neighbors. i’m going on record saying i’m not excited about any of those names. i will continue to think of it as simply early spring green.
