playing with before and after photos again. these 12 maximilian sunflowers were featured on STILL blog last summer then i left them on top of the piano to dry for six months. i will repost the original so you can see the two side by side. i posted the two photos on instagram today, and asked people which they preferred. the feedback was pretty evenly split. it seems to me, there are those that value interesting over the classically beautiful, and those that prefer color and beauty first and fore most. in STILL, i am happiest with my daily creation if i can achieve both–beautiful and interesting.  then again both of those are subjective. but perhaps less than we may think.
