this series was hatched after i had discovered the joy of using a pizza cutter to apply straight lines of paint.  it was a short leap to start scanning the kitchen for other items to use to apply paint.  in the end, the series has a japanese sumi feel to it that appeals to me quite a lot. especially this one in particular.
