This is so beautiful (each one is like a little sculpture). Your photo triggered a childhood memory. My grandmother used to vacation in South Carolina each year and would come back with tiny shells that she would glue in rows. Rows and rows of little butterflies.

Usually I find those on my sleeve or my dog’s fur so I don’t stop to note how pretty they are–kind of like a spiky pine cone.
