endless supply
yes there is an endless supply of beach rocks but that’s not what this title refers to. it’s about the fact that i have an endless supply of enthusiasm for the shapes and patterns of the rocks i find. look how this one appears to have been wrapped in spiral muslin like a mummy. i mean really. how could you ever get sick of beach rocks?

I have jars and bowls of them around our house. I have to stop myself–okay, if I’m being honest, my children have to stop me–at some point and say “that’s enough”. But I love looking at them, picking them up and feeling their heft, and remembering the places we were when they were collected, and marveling at their uniqueness.

    • A kindred spirit! I have started writing the name of the beach on the back of one rock from each outing. I have a special jar just for those rocks. Every now and then I dump on the table as a centerpiece. It’s fun to reminisce over meals.
