grand marais on lake superior is one of my favorite places on earth. if you ever want to road trip from toronto, i will meet you there and we can spend a weekend hiking the superior national forest and combing the northshore beaches of lake superior! grand marais is accessible from thunder bay if you wanted to make it a road trip. just planting seeds :-)
